TOTS RG - Mommy and Me Class
This Tots class is designed to maximize the fundamentals of Rhythmic Gymnastics through skill development, movement to music, and fun. Designated for students at the age of 2-3, classes include a warm-up including circle and song time, an obstacle course, a very beginner level of strength & flexibility development portion and learning to handle the use of Rhythmic Gymnastics apparatus. With this class children will also develop their concentration and awareness of their body.
This Beginners RG class is designed to go through a detailed warm-up that will focus on increasing flexibility, strength, coordination & learning basic and safe body skills while utilizing an apparatus such as a Rope, Ball, Hoop, & Ribbon to music. Beginner R.G classes are designed in groups of 4-5 years of age (60 min duration), as well as 6-up (90 minute duration).
This class is designed for kids 6-up, to go through a more extensive warm-up that will focus on increasing and developing flexibility, Strength & learning to perform skills while utilizing an apparatus such as Rope, Ball, Hoop, & Ribbon to routines. Students training 2 times per week at this level may be considered as potential pre-team members (90 minute duration per class).
PRE TEAM RG
This Pre-Team program is by invitation only for gymnasts intending to join the competitive program. Pre-Team members will train a minimum of 2 days per week for 2.5-3 hours per practice to enhance flexibility, leaps, pivots & strength while utilizing apparatuses, and perfect routines to prepare them for the competitive team. Upon coaches approval, gymnasts will be placed in levels 3-4, and may be invited to take part in competitions. Level placement depends on age, skill level and abilities, and dedication to training.
COMPETITIVE TEAM RG
The competitive program will implement training that takes place a minimum of 3 days per week to prepare Rhythmic Gymnasts to compete in Local, State, Regional, & National competitions. Team members are accepted on a try out basis. As a team member, gymnasts are registered USAG athletes. Upon coaches approval, gymnasts will be placed in levels 5-9. Level placement depends on age, skill level and abilities, and dedication to training. The highest level in USAG RG is Level 10. A gymnast could only be this level if she is either in junior (13-15 years old) or senior (16 years and older) division and she has to be already level 9 and US Citizen to be eligible to compete at the Rhythmic National Qualifier, where she can qualify of becoming level 10 gymnast.
Other RG program Rogue Rhythmics works with is USAIGC Program. It is divided in levels: Cooper, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum level and as USAG, upon coaches approval, gymnasts will be placed in their proper levels. Level placement depends on age, skill level and abilities, and dedication to training.
STRETCHING & FLEXIBILITY
This Stretching & Flexibility class will focus on loosening up tension in all areas of the body including back, spine, arms, legs, to increase the alignment and posture. Whether you're at a beginners level looking to increase your flexibility, or you are flexible and looking to increase to a contortionist level, this class is designed for you. Instructors will adhere the class lessons and postures to the “right temperature” for each individual creating variations for all poses. 2 days per week is recommended, however 1 day per week is welcome. (75-90 minute duration per class).
This class is open to all ages and students interested in ballet, hip hop, lyrical jazz, modern, and contemporary. The class will include a warm-up, stretching, drills for fluid body movement to music. Students will learn to perform pieces to various dance styles.(90 minute duration per class).
Students will have the opportunity to have customized choreography by Rogue Rhythmics’ coaches utilizing student’s strength and abilities to put forth pieces showcasing their capabilities whether it’s a Rhythmic Gymnastics routines, audition dance pieces, or Talent Choreography for Stage Pageant. Our Summer Camp runs from July 9th - Aug 17th, Mon-Fri 9am-2pm and it is open for all levels ranging from Recreational to Competitive Team level.
